Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is a county-owned critical access hospital (CAH) nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills region in Logan, Ohio. In existence since 1906, HVCH has been a public, non-profit community hospital since 1949. Hocking Valley Medical Group (HVMG) was formed in 1998 by the Hocking Valley Community Hospital Foundation to help support the medical needs of both the community and the hospital. Education is viewed as a top priority for our children, with over 50% of them going on for more formal education. Two prestigious Ohio universities are within one-hour commutes. Ohio University, located in Athens, Ohio offers a diverse field of studies that includes an Osteopathic Medical School. Ohio State University is world-renowned and has an excellent medical facility.
