Hospital in Western Arizona
This 235-bed non-profit medical center has grown into a facility capable of providing highly technical and specialized care not normally available to residents living in a rural setting. It services 80,000 lives, employs over 1,500 employees, has over 250 volunteers and over 190 physicians/allied health professionals. Receiving the Governor's Arizona Innovation Award, being named one of the nation's top 100 hospitals in community value, and becoming Arizona's first rural teaching hospital are the results of local leaders working to meet the healthcare needs of their community. The hospital is affiliated with Midwestern University as they train doctors specializing in family medicine and emergency medicine.
