Johnson County Community Hospital offers hometown inpatient care coupled with a state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency department. The hospital serves the upper northeast tip of Tennessee and parts of North Carolina and Southwest Virginia.
The two-bed hospital offers outpatient and primary care services provided by Mountain States Medical Group–Johnson County Family Medicine, as well as cardiac rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, diagnostic services including CT scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and mammography, and physical therapy and laboratory services. Johnson County Community Hospital also provides Senior Health Solutions, a behavioral health program for seniors dealing with stress and/or sadness brought on by aging or personal loss.
Hospital outreach personnel provide health education at community events, and on-site influenza vaccines to local industry. The facility is conveniently located next to downtown on South Shady Street (U.S. Route 421).
