About Jordan Valley Medical Center – West Valley Campus
In 1963 Pioneer Valley Hospital opened its doors in West Valley City, Utah, as a modest facility with three operating rooms and 40 beds. The hospital was rebuilt in 1980 and rapidly expanded in the years that followed.
In 2004 the hospital completed an 18-month long, $14 million construction project, which included more than 88,000 square feet of expansion and renovations, as well as a significant investment in state-of-the-art medical technology. It is now home to one of the busiest emergency departments in the state, receiving 36,000 emergency room visits per year.
Today, under the name of “Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus”, this facility is known for its long-term commitment to providing expert healthcare with kindness and compassion.
