K'ima:w Medical Center
K’ima:w Medical Center is a tribally owned and operated ambulatory medical clinic located on the reservation and is partially funded by the Indian Health Service. The medical center has been a Joint Commission accredited ambulatory clinic for 15 years, behavioral health accredited for over a year, and, six months ago, received the Joint Commission’s Patient Centered Medical Home accreditation. In addition, the facility houses a COLA accredited laboratory that performs moderately complex testing. The medical center’s primary programs and services are outpatient medical, dental, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, outreach services, senior nutrition, in-house ambulance service, a grant funded diabetes department, and behavioral health unit (which includes mental health and substance abuse).
