Facility Description Lakeway Regional Hospital is a general medical/surgical acute care facility with 135 beds, including a 7 bed ICU, a 10 bed Women's Pavilion, a 27 bed Inpatient physical Rehabilitation unit, and a 24 hour Emergency Room serving the residents of Morristown, and the Lakeway region. The ED has an annual volume of 15,600 visits and there are 24 hrs Physician coverage, 7a-7p,7p-7a . The Department boasts a two-bed trauma unit, a dedicated pediatric suite, a Gynecology suite, eight private treatment rooms and a new centralized Cardiac Monitoring System in each of the patient treatment rooms. The nursing staff is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and trained in all other aspects of emergency and trauma care.
