Loris Healthcare System

Loris Healthcare System is based in Loris, SC. We serve communities in northwestern Horry County, SC and southern Brunswick and Columbus counties in NC. We are located only 23 miles inland from the coast of SC. Though there are only 3500 residents living within the city limits, there are more that 160,000 residing within 30 miles of the hospital. In addition to our 105-bed hospital, Loris Community Hospital, our healthcare system is made up of Loris Extended Care Center, Center for Health & Fitness, 2 Family Health Centers, Loris Healthcare Foundation and our new Hospital Seacoast Medical Center

early 2011, we are taking an unprecedented step in fulfilling our mission to the community-one that will take healthcare in our area to a new level and allow more patients to receive high-quality care close to home.

 Seacoast Medical Center, known as a provider of top emergency and outpatient care for the north strand communities, will soon be opening 32 new inpatient beds, a 10-bed progressive care unit and an 8-bed intensive care unit.

This means that, in addition to our emergency and outpatient services, we will now be providing you with outstanding inpatient care convenient to home.
