Lowell Community Health Center is located in the city of Lowell serving 1 in 3 of its residents.      The Health Center is a diverse, community-based health agency with non-profit 501 (c) (3) status.  The Health Center programs have been recognized as national models. Lowell Community Health Center is housed in a beautiful, newly renovated loft along the canals of the Merrimack River with 30+ providers, 88 exam rooms, and collaborative work environment .

Lowell Community Health Center's mission is to provide caring, quality and culturally competent health services to the people of Greater Lowell, regardless of their financial status; to reduce health disparities and enhance the health of the Greater Lowell community; and empower each individual to maximize their overall well-being.

  • The Health Center accepts most private insurances along with MassHealth, Medicare and Commonwealth Care and Choice.  No patient will be denied health care services because of inability to pay.

Circle Health, the parent organization of Lowell General Hospital and Lowell Community Health Center, is an integrated healthcare delivery system that brings together providers and organizations across the continuum of care with a shared vision for providing convenient and affordable access to high-quality preventive, primary and specialty care right in the community. 

Lowell General Hospital is the second largest community hospital in Massachusetts with 2 campuses in Lowell,  434 beds, 3500 staff members, 700 physicians and named a Boston Business Journal's Best Place to Work for the past four years.  Lowell General Hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and diagnostic services including 24-hour emergency care, critical care, rehabilitative services, maternal/neonatal health, pediatrics and ambulatory care.  A $95 million expansion to the main campus provides patients with a new state-of-the-art Emergency Department and Level III Trauma Center with helipad, 72 new private inpatient rooms, a new outpatient service area, expanded imaging services with new MRI, three new Operating Rooms, a new Surgical Day Care Unit with 26 bays and a new Labor and Delivery Unit.
