Madison Health is a healthcare system located in London, Ohio. The main hospital is located in London, and we also have satellite locations in West Jefferson and Mt. Sterling. Madison Health takes great pride in providing comprehensive and personalized healthcare to our communities. We are a not-for-profit community hospital.
Madison Health is proud to be a part of the Ohio State University/Mount Carmel Health Alliance. Since 1999, our partnership with these two systems through the Health Alliance is all about building better health care in Madison County and the surrounding communities. Through the alliance, we can provide additional healthcare resources and improve access to specialized medical services.
We continuously strive to:
- Improve our performance in all areas.
- Promote a culture of integrity and high ethical standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care.
- Understand and meet the healthcare needs of the communities we serve.
We are proud to be named a top workplace four years in a row by Columbus CEO magazine.
The hospital opened in 1962, and throughout the years has experienced tremendous growth throughout Madison County. In January 2019 we opened a $25 million expansion project that includes a state-of-the-art emergency department, new cancer center, renovated birthing center and specialty office space. In May of 2019 Madison Health opened a new urgent care center in London, and in June 2019 opened a new wound care clinic at the main hospital.
London is the county seat of Madison County, and is located about 25 miles west of Columbus, which is the capital of Ohio.
