Boone County Emergency Medicine - Suburban Indianapolis
Boone County Emergency Medicine is an independent, physician-owned Emergency Medicine group that provides care in and around central Indiana. BCEM is affiliated with two hospitals: Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN and Witham Health Services in Lebanon, IN.
Major Hospital is a 70-bed community hospital providing excellent healthcare to patients, not only in Shelby County, Indiana, but also from the southeastern part of the state.
Shelbyville, Indiana also has a lot to offer. It is a small town with a big heart, with its close proximity to Indianapolis providing easy access to the benefits of the city, while still maintaining its small-town appeal. For example, its historic Mainstreet Shelbyville area has a great mix of old and new shops, restaurants, and other businesses. Shelbyville is also home to Indiana GRAND Casino and horse track, which opened in 2009 and is now the largest land-based casino located in the Midwest. Residents of Shelbyville enjoy a very active Parks and Recreation Department that hosts sports, festivals, and other activities year-round.
