Mayport Naval Clinic
STGI has an immediate need for an Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician to support the Naval Family Practice Clinic in Mayport, Florida.
Experience and additional/supplemental qualifications will be addressed in the task order for each labor category.
C.8.1. CURRENT COMPETENCY AND RECOMMENDATION LETTERS.
C.8.1.1. Unless otherwise specified in the task order, each HCW requesting clinical privileges shall have 2 years experience within the past 2 years to demonstrate clinical competency in the clinical discipline required and as specified by the contract and/or task order (e.g., Family Practice Physician, Clinical Psychologist, Optometrist).
C.8.2.1. Possess a Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited college approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, a Doctorate degree in Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, or permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
C.8.2.2. Successful completion of a residency program (corresponding to the specialty required by the task order) which has been approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association or those Canadian training programs approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or other appropriate Canadian medical authority.
C.8.2. 3. Possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license (corresponding to the specialty required by the task order) in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Possess Board Certification in either of the following:
- Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine or by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
- Possess a current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Possess a minimum of two years of experience within the preceding three years as a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician performing duties similar to those required by the task order.
