Meritas Health is a multi-specialty employed physician network and subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital (NKCH), a 451-bed level 2 trauma center.

Meritas Health is comprised of over 120 physicians with specialties in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT, Psychiatry, Palliative Care and Occupational Health. We have over 30 clinics in the Northland.  Together, Meritas Health and North Kansas City Hospital serve the health care needs of patients in our growing Northland community.

North Kansas City Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and continues to be one of the busiest hospitals in Kansas City with 23,000 annual admissions. Our birthing center welcomes nearly 1,800 babies every year and is the Northland’s only Level III NICU with 24/7 NNP coverage by Children's Mercy. Our Emergency Department is one of the busiestin Kansas City with over 69,000 visits annually and is host to a nationally accredited Chest Pain Center. We have an established Heart Failure Clinic and Clinical Cardiac Decision Unit to more efficiently treat patients with heart disease and manage low risk chest pain.
