Methodist Medical Group Primary Care has a long history of giving back to the community.

We believe in access to healthcare for all and participate in many activities that provide treatment or promote health in response to community needs. We also continue to be the largest provider of TennCare services in the state, and our facilities serve all areas of the city and county.

In addition to serving patients, we contribute to the community in a variety of ways, including:

  • Medical education and research
University of Tennessee graduate medical residents and fellows
  • Church Health Center/Christ Community Health Services
Free patient care and program funding
  • Community education
Training for EMS and other medical professionals outside our organization in order to improve overall care in the region
  • Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being
Screenings, education and support to improve the everyday lives of children in our community
  • Methodist Healthcare Foundation/Le Bonheur Foundation
Funding for a variety of projects, including the Methodist Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center, Methodist Hospice Residence and FedEx Family House
  • Faith and Health Division
Partnership through the Congregational Health Network with more than 500 congregations and faith communities to help patients navigate their medical care
  • Associate giving
