Mountain Emergency Physicians

Mountain Emergency Physicians is a local, independent/democratic group with a history of over 25 years in the area.  

MEP staffs both ED’s and Hospitalist programs in the Hickory/Statesville/Lake Norman/Lenoir  areas of North Carolina.  

MEP is pleased to announce that we are adding the Hospitalist program at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory NC in the summer of 2021.
