Responsibilities

This position provides clinical endocrine care to patients at the New Center One outpatient center two blocks east of Henry Ford Hospital on West Grand Boulevard. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to noon and 1 -5 p.m. and one Saturday a month. The position will involve inpatient consultations at both Henry Ford Hospital and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital on rotated weekend (approximately 1 in 5). 

 

Teaching is expected of residents and fellows. Research is possible, provided the candidate has their own funding. Office space and medical staff are shared.

 

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Medical Degree and have completed a three year Internal Medicine residency and an ACGME accredited Endocrinology fellowship, be American Board of Internal Medicine: Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism board eligible/certified and able to be licensed in the State of Michigan.
