North Country HealthCare is a dynamic, non-profit community health center with a mission to provide accessible, affordable, primary health care in an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity. We are a freestanding delivery model through which comprehensive primary care, dental care, outreach programs, and training/education services are offered to people of all ages across Northern Arizona. We are a 501© (3) facility with 90 providers and 440 employees. Our payer mix is 20% Medicare; 33% AHCCCS/Medicaid; 31% Private Insurance and 16% Uninsured/Sliding Fee Scale. 

Our Springerville clinic offers an option for hospital service at White Mountain Regional Medical Center. White Mountain Regional has 22 beds which makes call less demanding than in a larger hospital. If hospital service is not desired, position is outpatient (night call 2 wks / yr), No OB. Beautiful Springerville clinic has 18 exam rooms.

Springerville is located in Northeastern Arizona, the Town of Springerville is at the heart of the growing southwest.

A variety of industries shape Springerville’s economic profile. In the early days, cattle and sheep ranching were principal economic activities, but these have gradually been replaced by tourism, agriculture, construction, forestry, and retail sales in support of the 2,000 local residents and an additional 9,000 residents that make up the trade area.

Springerville is located at the junction of US 60 and State Highways 180 and 191. It is a day's trip away from the Grand Canyon, Phoenix and Albuquerque. 

Springerville offers a broad range of facilities to its residents, including historical library, museum, and numerous athletic facilities. Springerville is also home to Casa Malpais, a nationally recognized archeological ruin.Sunrise ski and snowboard resort is just 20 minutes away.  The 4th of July parade down Main Street in Springerville draws people from towns 2+ hours away. 

Combined with a mild climate and proximity to a wealth of outdoor recreation year round (ranging from hunting and fishing to winter skiing) Springerville is a haven for recreational enthusiasts from the Southwest.
