The Cancer Services program at OhioHealth Grady Memorial is nationally recognized and certified by the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Radiology, and is a member of the Columbus Community Clinical Oncology Program, a clinical oncology research program established and funded by the National Cancer Institute. Participating in this consortium of 10 hospitals and 120 physicians gives Grady patients voluntary access to leading-edge clinical trials of drugs and drug combinations not yet approved by the FDA.
Heart and Vascular Care
The physicians who see patients and perform heart and vascular procedures at OhioHealth Grady Memorial are also top cardiologists at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist and OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. OhioHealth Grady Memorial offers a variety of heart and vascular services in its recently updated state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab. McConnell Cardiac Rehabilitation at OhioHealth Grady Memorial brings nationally recognized exercise, monitoring and educational programs closer to home for Delaware area patients.
OhioHealth Grady Memorial is a member of the OhioHealth Stroke Network, a team of critical care and stroke experts that work together to provide the highest quality care and best outcomes. Careful evaluation determines if the patient should remain at Grady Memorial or be transferred to an OhioHealth Primary Stroke Center. Inpatient and Emergency Department consultations are provided, along with diagnosis, care, and procedures.
OhioHealth Grady Memorial is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, demonstrating expertise and commitment to quality patient care by meeting or exceeding a wide set of stringent criteria and undergoing an onsite review by accreditation specialists. Grady Memorial boasts consistently high patient satisfaction scores in its Emergency Department and prides itself in patient "door-to-doc" times that average less than half the national average.
