ProMedica Neurosciences Center
The Neurosciences Center is a three-story, 122,000 square foot building on the north campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital. The modern architecture and design of the building reflects the innovation and creativity that will take place within its walls. The building also features a major art installation inspired by the neurosciences.
At the neurosciences center, science researchers interact daily with neurology and neurosurgery clinical staff within the departments of neurology and neurosurgery. This means our physicians are focused on treating the symptoms of the medical condition, as well as understanding and discovering the underlying cause. This “bench-to-bedside” approach is available only in academic medical centers and provides patients treated through the neurosciences center with early access to the latest and most promising solutions to their conditions.
A multidisciplinary team of experts including nearly 40 specialized neuroscience physicians from ProMedica and the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences practice together in one location.
Our team includes:
- General and subspecialty trained neurologists and neurosurgeons
- Specially trained nurses and advanced practice providers
- Neurophysiology technicians
- Physical therapists
