Riverside Medical Center
With its large geographical footprint serving the communities in Riverside, Coachella Valley and Temecula, this area offers both the stability of the Permanente system and a high level of independence. The environment of the medical center is likened to a private practice setting with emphasis in professional autonomy alongside excellent comprehensive administrative support. Physicians are offered incredible variety—they can work in an urban setting or in rural locations with a small-town feel in our Coachella Valley/Palm Desert or Temecula satellite offices; or at one of the two medical centers in Riverside and Moreno Valley; at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains or in the desert. Yet there are strong threads that run throughout our area: the “One Riverside” culture that is focused on collaboration and exhibits first-name collegiality, healthy work-life balance, and flexibility. Its great reputation and high level of respect from patients also helps unify the area and render the caregiving experience deeply gratifying. With its exceptional growth rate—perhaps the highest in the region—the area is still evolving, with new talent and ideas arriving each week. This maintains the Riverside environment fresh, young, and exciting, with leadership opportunities being presented regularly.
