One of Jackson County’s newest acute care hospitals, Saint Luke’s East Hospital sets the standard for patient satisfaction: It’s ranked in the top five for patient satisfaction in the Kansas City area for the past 10 years, according to Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS)
Since opening in 2006, the hospital has continually grown to meet the area’s expanding health care needs. In fact, it has completed expansions every year from 2007 to 2016. It currently has 201 beds.
Saint Luke’s East Hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including a 24-hour Emergency Department and Level III Trauma Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, accredited Chest Pain Center, Maternity Unit with Level IIIa NICU, nationally accredited Breast Center with the area’s first 3-D mammography, comprehensive cancer care, rehabilitation care, robotic surgery, and Hip & Knee Center.
