Sanford Clinic Wahpeton is a warm, fun & thriving group of 10 family practice providers including: 4 MDs, 1 DO and 5 advanced practice providers and an integrated primary care model with a LSW and IHT on staff to support. On-site specialty services include 1 surgeon, 2 psychologists and 1 optometrist, also on-site physical and occupational therapy services. A variety of outreach services are also provided by Sanford Clinic Fargo physicians.
We’re also proud to provide obstetrics care close to home in Wahpeton. Our local team offers prenatal care throughout your pregnancy and labor and delivery care at the Family Birth Center in Sanford Medical Center Fargo.
COMMUNITY - Wahpeton, ND, with a population of 8,600 is the seat of Richland County ND and its sister city Breckenridge, MN with a population 3,600 is the seat of Wilkin County MN. Just 45 miles directly south of Fargo these border cities are located at the headwaters of the Red River of the North which divides the communities and creates the state boundary between North Dakota and Minnesota.
