As the largest network of clinics established as Federally Qualified Health Centers in Kansas, our hospital sees tens of thousands of patients who otherwise would be left off the care grid. For care providers who want to make a substantial difference in the quality of their patients' lives, the underserved represent a promising career opportunity. The combination of a declined in family medicine physicians and the dramatic increase in the cost of health insurance is generating an expanding demand for community health providers. Founded in 1979, our hospital has established a capacity for delivering a quality of care that, measured outcomes in a recent United Healthcare study, ranks us among the nation's highest.
With numerous clinics now located in underserved neighborhoods and communities throughout central Kansas, we are on a mission to provide holistic care to families and communities where economic or geographic hurdles are limiting access. Our services include primary care, optometry, dental, podiatry, pharmacy and behavioral health. We accept private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid and bill on a sliding scale for those who have no insurance. Your practice will be supported by a comprehensive network of administrative and operational services. Our providers in our satellite clinics are entrusted with the authority to operate their clinics with a high degree of independence.
Your patients aren't the only ones who benefit from the time you have to spend with them, your family gets the same benefit. You might expect that a practice with a Christ-centered mission would want their providers to have a high quality of life with their family, and you would be right. We manage the periphery of your practice for you, so you can put a normal day in at the office and have a normal life at home.
