Royal Oak Health Group has been retained to recruit for a Medical Director of Cardiac Testing Lab.
Must be a Non-Invasive Cardiologist that is ECHO boarded (The Cardiovascular Testing Department is accredited by IAC) or becomes boarded within 3 years of training.
Prefer someone that is nuclear boarded, but this is not a requirement. No billing for nuclear testing because the Radiologists bill for that. If the candidate is nuclear boarded he/she could do peer review and have oversight over the Radiologists reading nuclear cases. The work schedule would be a ½ day in the Cardiac Testing Lab and a ½ day in the clinical office seeing patients. We anticipate the physician working once or twice a month in our outlying clinics seeing patients. Right now call is every 3rd night and every third weekend. The physicians did say this would like change with the recruitment of this position.
Hospital employed opportunity with Heart & Vascular Group:
- Option #1: Base salary of $419,000* (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target.
- Option #2: Base salary of $532,000* (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract. ?* 5% less for those not yet boarded, salary adjusted accordingly upon board certification
