St. Joseph Medical Center - Tacoma (Hospitalist Department)
Kaiser Permanente is contracted with St. Joseph Medical Center, a 370-bed General Hospital that serves the surrounding communities of Pierce and South King County areas. When admitted to St. Joseph Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Members are cared for by a team of Kaiser Permanente Hospitalists who manage the member's care during their hospital stay. The Hospitalist also work alongside Kaiser Care Management Nurses for care plans to discharge. While at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente members have access to Kaiser Permanente Cardiology, General Medical and Surgical, OB/GYN, Oncology, Orthopedic, Urologist and Ears, Nose and Throat specialist.
