Groundbreaking Care Coming Fall 2016

St. Luke's University Health Network has broken ground for better health care in Bartonsville, PA. This is the Network's 7th hospital and will be easily accessible from Routes 33, I-80 and Route 611. The hospital will offer beautifully appointed private patient rooms, a patient-centered health care experience driven by customer service and a higher standard of care for Monroe County.

The Monroe Campus is part of the St. Luke's University Health Network, a non-profit, regional, fully integrated network comprised of hospitals, physicians and other related organizations providing care in eastern Pennsylvania and western NJ. The Network includes more than 150 locations and soon to be seven hospitals.

Areas of special expertise include: a fully accredited Level 1 trauma center, STS 3 star cardiac surgery program, structural heart and full service EPS program, cardiology fellowship program, oncology neuroscience, orthopaedics, high-risk pregnancy, robotic surgery, radiology (we are an international General Electric Show Site) and vascular disease.

Aspiring doctors have the opportunity to earn a medical degree at the Medical School of Temple University/St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network based in Bethlehem. St. Luke's has more than 180 physicians enrolled in internship, residency and fellowship programs.

An outdoor lifestyle

In addition to extremely supportive administration and high level of morale among medical staff, there are significant advantages to the locale. The office and hospital are located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, one of the most popular areas for outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and white water rafting. You can live in the heart of the Pocono Mountains or easily do a short commute from the Lehigh Valley.
