With a population of just under 90,000, Fall River is located along the eastern shore of Mount Hope Bay at the mouth of the Taunton River. It is well known for Battleship Cove, the world’s largest collection of World War II naval vessels. It is also home of the USS Massachusetts. The city boasts a vibrant mix of cultures from around the world and hosts many ethnic festivals throughout the year. Since the 1980s, there has been a considerable amount of new development in the North end of the city, with many new single- and multi-family housing developments. There are many private and public school options.
