Located in the Walking Horse Capital of the World, Tennova Healthcare - Shelbyville is a 60-bed full service community hospital dedicated to the health care needs of the people of Shelbyville and Bedford County, Tennessee. In addition to primary care medicine, our physicians and staff provide a wide variety of programs and services including Cardiopulmonary, OB/GYN, Rehabilitation, Sleep Disorder medicine, full General and Orthopedic surgery, Infectious Disease, and more. Fully accredited by the Joint Commision of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the "Medical Center" is staffed by professional, compassionate people from our own community.
Shelbyville, with an in-town population of 16,000, is the seat of fast growing Bedford County, with a county population of over 40,000. Shelbyville is only 25 miles from Murfreesboro, home to the state's second largest university (Middle Tennessee State University), and only 60 miles from vibrant Nashville, "Music City USA".

The Calsonic Arena, can accommodate 7,000 for concerts, and hosts a variety of activities from rodeos, motocross events and monstor truck rallies to antique car shows, country music concerts and alpaca shows.
