The Child & Family Behavioral Health Center
The Alexander Center for Child Development and Behavior (known as the Alexander Center) provides a spectrum of services to families with children who have developmental disabilities, psychophysiological, learning, language and behavior disorders. These services include individual interdisciplinary diagnostic evaluation of children, medical intervention and medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, speech/language therapies, academic consultation to parents and school, academic tutoring and biofeedback treatment. Children who present to the Alexander Center often have multiple developmental and behavioral difficulties and multiple diagnoses. These diagnoses include disruptive behavior disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, specific learning disabilities, speech/language disorders, mental retardation, habit disorders, chronic pain syndromes, autism and emotional disorders
