Tillamook Regional Medical Center (formerly Tillamook County General Hospital) is a
25-bed Critical Access
Hospital located in Tillamook, a rural
community on the northern Oregon coast. TRMC's
services include 24-hour ambulance and emergency services, clinical outpatient therapy
services, imaging, laboratory, medical and surgical services, intensive care, obstetrics,
rehabilitation and three rural health clinics.
TRMC was named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in America by the National Rural
Health Association and launched stroke telemedicine services in the Emergency Department
as part of a regional telestroke network.
In 2011, TRMC had
1,162 admissions, 157 deliveries, 9,727 ER visits, 29,304 outpatient visits,
7,712 home care visits and 5,289 hospice visits. The hospital is staffed by
over 100 physicians, 360 employees and 100 volunteers. Also in 2011, the
hospital contributed over $9.7 million in free and low-cost services to the
