This facility is a part of UofL Health, a fully integrated academic health system that includes five hospitals, four medical centers, nearly 250 physician practice locations, more than 1,000 providers, the Frazier Rehabilitation Institute and James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Shelbyville Hospital is located on the Colonel Harland D. Sanders Medical Campus just 30 minutes east of downtown Louisville. For more than 110 years, this community hospital has served as a vital resource to residents of Shelby, Henry and Spencer counties and offers a full range of comprehensive services including:

The hospital has greatly benefited from the generous support of the Colonel Harland D. Sanders Foundation.  Shelbyville Hospital has received $1.45 million in donations from the Sanders Foundation to help enhance the quality of care received by the patients they serve. Colonel Sanders and his wife, Claudia, were residents of Shelby County and considered the Shelbyville Hospital their hometown hospital of choice.

Additionally, the hospital completed a $1.8 million infrastructure and equipment investment project in 2017, including new surgical, cardiology and stroke care equipment as well as an interior refresh of patient rooms and lobby areas.
