The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), one of three major branches in the Department of Veterans Affairs, focuses on providing a comprehensive healthcare system for the nation's Veterans. VHA’s goal for medical care is to ensure that quality medical care is provided on a timely basis within the law to all authorized Veterans.
Each VHA healthcare facility is located in one of 21 Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) spanning the United States and its territories.
