Western Maryland Hospital Center’s Comprehensive Care Program is licensed as a skilled nursing home unit and certified by Medicare and Medicaid.
  • The Brain Injury Program at WMHC is a dedicated inpatient unit offering short- and long-term acute rehabilitation designed to meet the needs of individuals with a recent diagnosis of stroke, traumatic brain injury or other acquired brain injury resulting in such activity limitations and participation restrictions.
  • WMHC's Specialty Hospital Medical Care Unit is a unique, one-of-a-kind program that bridges the gap between hospital and home. Citizens of Maryland with multi-system and specialized health care needs will be managed by a dedicated, interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals that assist the patient in reaching their highest level of independence possible.
  • The Western Maryland Hospital Center Renal Dialysis Program, a Joint Commission accredited facility, offers licensed renal dialysis services to patients served at the Center and to residents of the State of Maryland. Services are provided through a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team approach led by an experienced nephrologist, to persons with a diagnosis of ESRD (end-stage renal disease) requiring renal replacement therapy to sustain life.
