Auburn Regional Medical Center, a level III Trauma Center, is a progressive acute-care facility and medical center that has been serving South King and North Pierce counties since 1921. This facility is licensed for 149 beds and is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services.  With over 140 physicians and 30 different specialties on the medical staff, the centers of emphasis are Cancer, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Surgery and Womens Health.  Auburn Regional admits over 13,000 patients per year.
