  • Both Tele-stroke and General Teleneurology coverage provided to client (majority is Tele-Stroke)
  • Average of 5-7 calls per 24 hour period, but anticipating increase with increase in number of contracts (all shifts are 24 hours)
  • Currently serving 20 facilities in the Texas area, adding 4-6 more in Florida soon
  • Full time would be six to eight 24-hour shifts per month for Primary Call and about the same for back up call
  • Part time would be minimum of three 24-hour shifts per month with the same number of back up call shifts
  • Compensation is a percentage of service fees for primary call and for back up call - approximately $2,000 for primary call shifts and $400 for back up call
  • Looking for Vascular Neurologists, Neurohospitalists or Neuro-Critical Care physicians

Qualifications:

  • Provider must commit to being available by phone in 5 minutes and initiate the consultation by camera within 15 minutes of notification
  • Board certification in Vascular Neurology or Vascular Neurology fellowship training, prior stroke medical directorship, and/or 5 years' experience as a Neurohospitalist
  • Active state license(s) in Texas, Oklahoma and/or Florida preferred
  • Familiarity with technology and access to a web-enabled computer, tablet, or smartphone
  • Previous telemedicine experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong clinical and communications skills
