Centrally located in the Corpus Christi Bay area, CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Memorial is home to the EM Residency Program. The hospital offers psychiatric, obstetrical, orthopedic, cancer, cardiac, surgical, diagnostic, dental and opthalmology services. In addition, CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi–Memorial is the lead emergency facility in the area. The hospital is staffed with nurses trained in advanced trauma care and board-certified emergency physicians, in all of the major specialties, 24 hours a day. The hospital is equipped to treat burn victims and maintains the only civilian burn unit in South Texas.
