In the northwestern part of the state, Grants is approximately a 90-minute drive west of Albuquerque.  It is an area rich in Native American history and culture with sites such as Chaco Canyon, Mount Taylor, and El Morro National Monument.

 

Cibola General Hospital is a newly built (2000) 25-bed facility. The 6-bed ED in Grants has an annual volume of 8,500 patient visits. Hospital has a 4-bed adult ICU, CT scanner and ultrasound, radiology and lab services staffed onsite 24 hours/day.  The medical staff consists of 10 full-time physicians specializing in family practice, internal medicine, surgery, and radiology.  Nurse staffing is made up of 1 RN on each shift, w/ additional staff as needed; Over 60% of RN staff is ACLS-certified. T-System is utilized here. 

 

Shifts are 12 to 24 hours in length. Full- and Part-time positions available. 

 

Qualifications:  BC/BE Emergency Medicine and Primary Care physicians; ATLS, ACLS, PALS
