Clarion Psychiatrist Center is located in the western part of Pennsylvania in Clarion, PA. It is a 78-bed private hospital owned and managed by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the leading health management companies. We offer clinical services and treatment for children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patient populations. Clinical programs address primary psychiatric and addictive disease disorders. In addition Clarion offers the Dual Diagnosis MH/MR program of inpatient psychiatric hospitalization for a population ranging in age from 14 years to adulthood. This program specializes in the psychiatric treatment of acute behavioral and emotional problems of adolescents and adults with mental retardation.
The principle goal of all programs is to provide a multidisciplinary assessment and comprehensive individualized treatment. Treatment settings include inpatient and day or partial services for all patient populations served. Families are a critical part of our treatment processes.
