The Emergency Services Department of D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital has a highly skilled tenured nursing staff and unit secretaries that work to meet the needs of any individual in an emergency situation. The hospital's facilities include a brand new 7,500 sq ft 24 hr Emergency Department, that includes five exam rooms, two integrated operating room suites, a two-bed trauma room, a cardiac trauma room and a decontamination room. The ongoing hospital expansion will also include a centralize registration and new waiting areas for most all outpatient and emergency services.
D. W. McMillan also supports a eight bed intensive care unit; general medical, surgical and pediatric services; and a woman & infants (OB) unit. The Emergency Services Department at D.W.
