Genesys PHO is a partnership with Ascension Genesys Hospital and the Genesys Physician Group Practice (GPGP). Ascension Medical Group Genesys is a large group practice consisting of more than 60 Primary Care Physicians, 1 After Hour Clinic, 7 Physical Therapy Facilities and 3 Diagnostic Centers, all of which are located throughout Genesee County as well as Lapeer, Tuscola, Shiawassee and Oakland counties. Our primary care physicians in the Ascension Genesys Network act as health care advocates offering a resource to outpatient ambulatory care, physical medicine treatment and mental health services. Ascension Genesys Health System, a member of Ascension Health, is a group of affiliated medical campuses, outpatient centers, primary care locations and ancillary health care organizations with a mission and history of improving our community's health for more than 90 years. As the leading health care provider in mid-Michigan, Ascension Genesys is anchored by a 21st century inpatient facility which is one of the first medical centers of its kind built both clinically and architecturally around a patient-focused care philosophy. Welcome to Flint and Genesee County, Michigan! As of 2012 Genesee County has a population of 418,408. Genesee County is Michigan’s 5th most populated county. The City of Flint is the county seat and is the seventh largest city in Michigan, with a population of more than 100,000.
