Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital (GJSH) has been a part of the Geisinger family since 2017. Since opening as a private hospital in the early 1900s, the hospital continued to grow through the decades to better serve the residents of western Lycoming and eastern Clinton counties. Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Hospitals and is designated as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Medicare Program.
