The Emergency Care Center at Lawrence Medical operates 24 hours a day and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Outfitted with two trauma rooms, three treatment bays, a dedicated OBGYN room, and suture room, the Emergency Care Center at Lawrence Medical has the latest in technological equipment to ensure a high quality of care. Six of the seven beds in the Emergency Care Center are monitored beds. The top-notch service combined with advanced technology sets the Emergency Care Center at Lawrence Medical apart from other hospitals. LMC has helicopter transportation available should the need arise, through AirEvac or Medflight.
The Emergency Care Center at LMC provides quality care in a reasonable timeframe to all patients. The exceptionally skilled and dedicated staff work to treat your emergency as efficiently as possible while ensuring that each patient is diagnosed thoroughly and treated appropriately. There will always be a highly-skilled doctor, trained ER nurse, and registration clerk on staff to provide one-on-one service and support to each patient and family no matter what time of day or night. All nurses are BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified.

Moulton, Alabama is a small town with a population of 3,400 centrally located between Florence and Cullman. Moulton was incorporated in 1819 and is the county seat of Lawrence County. Located on the downtown square are antique stores, restaurants, specialty shops and the beautifully landscaped Courtyard Park. Also, located on Alabama Highway 157 is a Super Wal-Mart, many fast food restaurants, pharmacies and more locally owned restaurants.
Moulton is especially proud of our beautiful 18 hole Deer Run Golf Course, municipally owned and nestled at the foothills of Bankhead National Forrest. We are also very proud to host the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival and the Jesse Owens Memorial Run, which attract thousands of people to Moulton each year.
