Facility Description

McKenzie Memorial is a 50-bed facility with an annual ED volume of 5,800.  Shift times are 12 hour weeknights and up to 24 hours on the weekends.

Community Description

Sandusky is located in the Thumb of Michigan near the west shore of Lake Huron, just two hours drive from Michigan's main metropolitan areas.  This unique region offers many interesting sights.  Native Americans carved a massive stone depicting early hunters, symbols and animals and it can be seen at the Sanilac County Petroglyhs in the northern part of the county.  The population of Sandusky is approximately 2,500.
