McLeod Health Clarendon

McLeod Health Clarendon, formerly Clarendon Health System, is now part of the McLeod Health family of not-for-profit hospitals. McLeod Health Clarendon is dedicated to creating lasting relationships with our patients and providing Clarendon County and surrounding communities with the best healthcare services available.

As part of McLeod Health, patients receive direct access to specialized services, improved technology, an outstanding physician network and enhanced facilities.

In 2013, Clarendon Health System completed a $22 million expansion and renovation project that included a 47,000-square-foot addition encompassing new operating rooms, emergency department, same day surgery department, and spacious patient rooms. Additionally, the hospital’s cafeteria, patient admissions, waiting rooms, and common areas were renovated to create a more welcoming and functional environment for patients, visitors and staff.

In July 2016, McLeod Health in Florence, SC, officially started operating Clarendon Health System in an effort to maintain health services and provide more depth of service to Clarendon County residents.
