At Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, we think the latest advances in healthcare should be right in your neighborhood, not miles away.

In 2010, we're celebrating our 25th year of providing proven, trusted healthcare to the community. Our campus, located at 9250 Pinecroft Drive, consists of the 252-bed main hospital and three professional office buildings, a team of more than 900 medical staff physicians, 1,400 employees and 250 volunteers.

Specialty services include Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center recognized heart and vascular services, outpatient imaging, an American College of Surgeons accredited cancer program, pediatric medicine with Child Life and women's care. Facility features include both a medical and surgical ICU to treat patients who have undergone procedures such as neurological, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries and diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization labs. In addition, the hospital includes an intermediate medical unit, palliative care services, updated chapel, expanded gift shop.

In addition, the hospital features a diabetes self management program accredited by the American Diabetes Association, a certified primary stroke center, an American College of Surgeons accredited bariatric (weight loss) surgery program, sports medicine, rehabilitation and physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, registered dietitians and an emergency center accredited as a Level III trauma center by the State of Texas.

Private rooms include sleeper sofas for family caregivers; visitors can access the Internet in each room to communicate with family and friends or take advantage of lounges on each floor. Visitors that have a laptop with a wireless card can also take advantage of the hospital’s free wireless Internet connection through the MH_GUEST network.

Medical Plaza 3, built in 2005 and located at 9200 Pinecroft Drive, houses our Outpatient Surgery Center, an Outpatient Imaging Center featuring a 3.0 Tesla MRI and PET/CT services, a Breast and Bone Center featuring digital mammography. The top floors of the building house physician office space.

In 2009, Memorial Hermann 24 HR Emergency Care opened at 9950 Woodlands Parkway, just before FM 2978. With the new 24-hour emergency, lab and imaging center, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands is now, more than ever, committed to providing

the very best in health care close to home. Additionally, plans are underway for a $104 million, 240,000 square foot major campus expansion set to break ground in 2010.

In an effort to address community health, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands is a tobacco-free campus. Tobacco use is not permitted inside or on the grounds outside the hospital or its three surrounding medical plazas.

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands is part of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, a 14-hospital system which includes Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Center in Houston’s Texas Medical Center.
