Northern California Surgery Center

Medical Anesthesia Consultants (MAC), a Sheridan affiliated practice is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for our Northern California Surgery Center, which is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Turlock, CA. The center was developed by area physicians to provide their patients high quality, patient-focused outpatient care.

This is a per-diem or part-time position and will provide anesthesia services for general surgery, ENT, Ortho, EGD, and much more.    This position requires someone who can work in a very fast paced environment with very short turnover time and has the ability to interact well with surgeons, staff and patients.  Board certification desired. 

The city of Turlock, located in Stanislaus County, is nestled in the heart of California's Central Valley. Situated about 93 miles south of the state capital of Sacramento at the intersection of California State Highways 99 and 165, Turlock affords close proximity to Interstate I-5 and State Highways 33, 132, and 140. Nearest communities are Modesto (to the northwest) and Merced (to the southeast). Turlock is the home of California State University Stanislaus (CSUS).

Incorporated in 1908, Turlock grew and developed in the midst of a heavy agricultural region. Benefiting from the influx of a diverse mix of ethnic and cultural residents, the city prospered through the 20th century and at one point was known for having the most churches for any city its size in the United States.
