Palestine Regional Medical Center - Serving approximately 100,000 people, Palestine Regional is a 150-bed full-service facility that provides a full range of comprehensive care including the latest in diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Approximately 500 employees and 50 volunteers work closely with the medical staff, which includes over 80 physicians representing 28 different medical specialties.

 Palestine community since 1972, offering vocational, technical and associate degree.  Other higher education institutions within driving distance include The University of Texas at Tyler, Texas A&M at College Station, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin University and Tyler Junior College.
