Riveredge Hospital is a free-standing psychiatric facility, specializing in the treatment of behavioral health. We serve the Chicago and surrounding region, delivering specialized care to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and geriatric patients.

All services are provided by an interdisciplinary team, which may include therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, expressive therapists, mental health associates and certified alcohol and drug counselors. These services are provided by qualified and committed professionals dedicated to providing care with compassion and integrity.

Our treatment is client-centered with a commitment to Trauma Informed Care.
Working with the patient is just one component of treatment process. Behavioral and mental health issues impact the entire family, thus, we make it our responsibility to engage the family in the treatment of every patient whether inpatient, outpatient or partial.

Riveredge Hospital also offers a comprehensive therapeutic program for those with Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. In a safe and structured environment, this program is designed to stabilize a person’s psychiatric symptoms while actively addressing their co-occurring substance use disorder. Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team will work with patients to understand and manage both disorders simultaneously.

Riveredge offers Inpatient and Partial Hospital Programs 
The Partial Hospitalization Program provides a structured therapeutic day treatment option for children and adolescents. The goal of PHP is to help stabilize problematic behaviors and learn positive coping skills for patients who are struggling at home or at school, but are not requiring inpatient treatment. The Children and Adolescents are programmed separately from each other.

The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for adolescents between the ages of 12-17.
