About the Hospital

Part of ScionHealth, SageWest Health Care encompasses two hospitals, which are both fully accredited by the Joint Commission. Lander and Riverton campuses located in Fremont Co, Wyo., both provide inpatient medical services, emergency room services, intensive care, surgical services including preventative colonoscopy screenings, therapy services, imaging services including 3D mammography, laboratory diagnostic services, primary care, sleep lab studies, infusion services and women's health. Our specialty services include cardiac services, dentistry, general surgery, neurology, orthopedic surgery, ear nose and throat services, psychiatry and podiatry. 

The Community

Fremont County consists primarily of the Wind River Valley in the western part of the Wyoming. It is bordered on the south and west by the Wind River Mountains and on the north by the Owl Creek Mountains. The county extends east over Beaver Rim into central Wyoming.

Beautiful Fremont County is nestled between the Wind River and Owl Creek mountain ranges. You will find world-class rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and camping. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are each less than 3 hours away by car. Need to travel by air? We have that covered as well with a regional airport offering daily flights to Denver.
