San Angelo Community Medical Center Logo San Angelo Community Medical Center is a full-service, 171-bed acute care hospital and a designated Level III Trauma Center. Specialties include a Level III-A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a comprehensive heart and vascular program, an Orthopedic and Total Joint Center, and a Rehabilitation and Stroke Center. The hospital is also the exclusive health sponsor of the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health.

  • 24 hours physician coverage daily with 12 hours MLP coverage
  • 12 hour MLP shifts 11a-11p, will change to 9 hour shifts in the future
San Angelo offers a mixture of arts and culture of West Texas, from the symphony to the Civic Ballet, live theater to the Old Chicken Farm Art Center. San Angelo features artistic alleys, historic murals, internationally acclaimed waterlilies, and the Concho Pearls, found in freshwater mussels unique to this area. Angelo State University is located in town, providing additional entertainment and sporting events.
