Sid Peterson Regional Medical Center

Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital is a 145-bed, acute care facility that anchors the Peterson Regional Health Care Center medical campuses.  The main campus is located in downtown Kerrville and includes two other facilities owned and operated by the hospital: the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at SPMH; and the Guy Griggs Professional Building, which contains physician office space.  A new hospital is set to open in March 2008, a 250,000 square feet facility, which will give us 125 beds, all private.  This will comprise of 125 total beds, 20 emergency rooms, 82 med/surge, 7 operating rooms, and a dining room of 150 capacity.  Looking for a hospitalist to join 2 others and share call.  The current hospitalist's work Monday-Friday and share call.    We have the weekends supplemented by 2 part time physicians.  This program has tremendous growth potential.
